History
1943 Tadao Kamijyo started “KAMIJO BOSAI KOGYOSHO”, a tunnel waterproofing business, in Akita Pref.
1947 Raito Bousui Eki, proprietary quick set mortar sealing liquid, was developed.
1948 RAITO BOSUI KOGYOSHO CO., LTD., named after the sealing liquid, was founded in Sendai, Miyagi Pref.
The first original shotcrete machine was developed.
1950 The first slope protection work was completed using Raito shotcrete machine.
1951 The company name was changed to “RAITO KOGYO CO., LTD.” and the head office was moved to Kudan, Tokyo.
1954 The first grouting work was carried out to improve bridge pier foundation.
1958 The first overseas waterproofing work was carried out in Taiwan.
1959 “Rapid greening” hydroseeding method was tested on site.
1961 Listed in the second section of Tokyo Stock Exchange.
1963 Raito’s proprietary “RG pile method” was adopted in the Subway Ginza Line Project.
1971 Chemical grouting method was introduced from Soletanche Entereprise, France.
1973 Technical Research Laboratory was established in Narashino, Chiba Pref.
1974 Listed in the first section of Tokyo Stock Exchange.
1975 “Prestressed Anchor method” was introduced from Soletanche Enterprise.
1980 “Quatre Vingt” hydromulching method, effective for rock slope greening, was developed.
1981 “PLUSS” pipe laying method was introduced from Soletanche Enterprise.
1982 “RSW Column” 4 shaft soil-cement column method was developed.
1984 “Silacsol” high-durablility grout was introduced from Soletanche Entereprise.
1988 “Enpasol” ground investigation system was introduced form Soletanche Entereprise.
1989 “Strip-reinforcing Earth Method” was developed.
1992 “UNILAP”, high head pumping delivery system for shotcreting, was developed.
1993 “RAS Column”, a proprietary deep soil mixing method, was developed.
1995 “Ecocycle Greening”, a slope greening method using recycled materials, was developed.
1996 “Rock Bonding Method”, a method to prevent fragile rocks from falling, was developed.
1997 “RAITO, INC.”, a U.S. based ground improvement contractor, was founded as 100% subsidiary.
1998 “Maxperm Grouting Method”, a grouting method especially effective to prevent liquefaction was developed.
ISO9001 was certified to Tokyo Branch, followed by all the other branches.
“Roving Wall” continuous-fiber reinforced soil method was developed.
1999 Technical Research Laboratory was certified as a public laboratory for environmental quantitative analysis.
Environmental investigation and remediation business was launched.
2001 “All Greening”, an environmental-friendly thick plant-base spray installation method for slope greening, was developed.
2002 The head office received ISO14001 certification.
2003 “EcoClay Wall” , environmental-friendly underground cutoff wall installation method, was developed.
“Conduction Navi”, three-dimensional navigational drilling system, was developed
2004 Continuous Rock Sounding System was developed based on ENPASOL sounding system.
“ELPS” drilling method for super-long tunnel forepiling system was developed.
Non-destructive old building diagnosis system was developed
2005 Computerized QA/QC system for soil mixing wall methods was developed.
“Alfasol-G Injection” method for repairing concrete structures was introduced.
Yasasiite Raito Co., Ltd. was established to start elderly care business.
2006 “Slope Coloring Shotcrete” method was developed.
“3D Protection Panel” method was introduced.
2007 “SSI” method and “N-SSI” method was introduced from JR Soken Engineering Co., Ltd.
“RMP-J”, a very large diameter ground improvement method, was developed.
Compound dynamic injection method was developed.
“Hat Ring”, a method to prevent manhole from floating during earthquake, was introduced from CS Engineers Co., Ltd.
2008 “OPT Jet Grouting” method was developed.
Deviation control and correction system “A-VEX” for “RSW” soil mixing wall was developed.
“ACTM” method was developed.
“ES Net” method was developed.
Percussion driving system for “Conduction Navi” drilling was developed.
2009 New jet grouting methods, “JEP-L” and “JEP-M”, were developed.
“RCG”, a method to fill voids behind tunnel lining, was developed.
2010 “RMP-MST”, a 2-shaft mechanical mixing type large ground improvement method was developed.
