Slope Stabilization
Natural and man-made slopes are vulnerable to heavy rains or earthquakes, sometimes causing disaster involving human lives. To prevent collapse of slopes, Raito’s UNILAP system is used to construct concrete grid beams (sometimes referred to as “grillage beams” or “grating beams”) on high altitude slopes. Our NSD (Non-Scaffold Drilling) system, which eliminates costly scaffolding, enables the installation of soil nails which stitch down the grid beams to the slope. The areas surrounded by the beams may be hydroseeded to hide the concrete structure and restore aesthetic quality of the slope.
